Boat house on Lake Waramaug, Washington, CT.
New Boat House on Lake Waramaug in Washington, CT. This project was delivered in June 2018 by Atelier d'Architecture.
Residential project, Warren, CT
The Boat House on West Shore Road in Washington is an off the grid project. There are two photovoltaic solar panels connected to 4 batteries that run a marine refrigerator and some indoor and outdoor lights. Thank you to Litchfield Hills Solar and Lenz Electric for installing this off the grid project on Lake Waramaug, in Washington, CT.
The interior and exterior decking is made out of IPE. This Cherry Wood was chosen for its durability, low maintenance, and beautiful rich color. The interior IPE 24"x24" deck tiles are removable in case of flooding.
Four solar storage batteries 24V system by Litchfield Hills Solar.
Interior wall lights powered by the two solar panels.
New IPE cherry wood flooring, the 2'-0"x2'-0" deck tile are removable for cleaning purposes in case of flooding.
New custom design cedar water ski euipemnt closet with a carousel for drying and hanging the life jackets. the closet is vented and equipped with a floor drain.

A renovation in Warren, CT.
The existing ceiling was demolished and skylights were added to bring lights into the renovated kitchen. Weathered wood beams were added from an antique salvaged barn.
This project combines a modern kitchen, vintage beams and dark wood floor for a warm, clean and stylish design.

New addition, 24'x22' screened in porch
Kent, CT
New IPE Brazilian cherry wood covered screen porch. Black metal custom sliding screens.
The 24'x22' covered screened porch was added to the existing main house, two new double French glass doors were added to add transparency from the living room connecting the outdoor space to the indoor.
A new wrap around IPE deck was also added to connect the front of the house.
